Meltdown

A meltdown,
And she turns into ice.

Her cold heart no longer takes another twice.
For even an iced heart couldn’t mend those ties.

For promises of forever are not meant for the wise,
only He can give her the warmth back in her eyes.

New Beginnings

Retreating,
and never moving,
to my new beginnings.

For the comforts of my heart’s language,
Turned into a baggage,
To my new beginnings.

Our story

The story of us
It goes something like this

Like how the sun and the moon were destined for the same sky but have never met

or how the ocean retreats from the shore timelessly even after a countless reset

And as tragic as it seems
The story of us
It went something like a story that I shouldn’t have miss.

For the story of us,
Was written by The All Best.

My One Heart

I thought to myself what you’d be like without me,
But I found myself in you.

I thought to myself what I’d be like without you,
And instead I found myself stirring in my coffee’s brew.

For I realise I couldn’t find myself without you,

Nor could I, even by sailing through the seventh ocean’s blue.

For our hearts were never made in twos.

Her Maker

You called her beautiful when her Maker covered her flaws.

You called her princess when her Maker is the All-King.

You called her your everything when you should have called Him.

For her Maker, made her – her heart and her soul.

All delicately heaved and written by Him.

Now, don’t give up on her.
Instead, ask Him.
